An introduction to linocut printing

The workshop is not just about printmaking: it explores its long-standing role as a medium for conveying a message, examining historical and contemporary examples. In the course of the day, attendees will learn how to design an image that effectively communicates a chosen issue, how to transfer it to a linoleum block, and how to carve and print it.
